Pharmacists: call for its commitment to abolish the sales tax on drugs

Amman - Alrai newspaper - confirmed Pharmacists Syndicate chairman Dr. Taher Al Shakhsheer that the pharmacists' Syndicate board strive to abolish the sales tax on medicine and within the strategy of action which had been agreed upon with all the sub-committees and not chaotic roads. He said that the Syndicate Council held an expanded meeting saturday 11/4/2009 in the presence of all the sub-committees in all the provinces of the Kingdom and the Division for the owners of pharmacists pharmacies, to study the subject of the sales tax, and the relationship with insurance companies and funds health insurance, the relationship with the Ministry of Health the Public Foundation for food and medicine, discounts.

He pointed out that he had participated in the meeting of the Assembly of medicines nationality who have shown their readiness and response to develop appropriate solutions, were also contacted with the Federation of Pharmaceutical producers Jordanian, who confirmed that he will set a meeting to discuss this issue next week, pointing out that he had been agreed with the general director of the tax to meet with him after the completion of all meetings with the owners of the relationship of pharmaceutical enterprises.
